Military Operations Analyst (NM17-01)
The candidate will provide on-site operational support to the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC) Joint Force Support. The JNWC addresses Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Operations in the context of Electronic Warfare (EW), space, and cyber operations for the Combatant Commands. Develops PNT threat and vulnerability estimates to support current operations and operational planning. The candidate will apply military background and experience to collaborate with Service and Combatant Command EW, space and cyber communities, to include; outreach to training and exercise venues, weapons system-specific conferences, forces integration, operational and contingency planning support, concepts of operations development and direct support to current operations, interagency incident response and anomaly resolution. Position requires ability to deploy to military Operations Centers to support Combatant Command exercises. The candidate will also provide JNWC “reach back” support to in-theater Space, cyber and EW operators and the GPS Operations Center. Travel requirement: moderate (typically 70 days per year).

Education and Experience
BS or BA degree. Eight to 10 years of experience in related operational field, and experience at Higher Headquarters (Numbered Air Force, Naval Fleet staff or above, Joint Combatant Commands or equivalent). The ideal candidate has recent operational experience with GPS-dependent systems and higher headquarters staff experience.
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and ability to work in a team setting with strong communication and interpersonal skills. General knowledge of military tactical and operational level.
Must be US Government Security Clearance Eligible.
Prior military operations/combat arms background. Familiarity with joint operations centers, operational planning processes, training, and/or field exercise planning, and GPS-dependent systems. EW or cyberspace experience a plus.
