Interagency Support Analyst (NM11-03)
Description
Provide on-site support to USSTRATCOM/JFCC-Space/Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC) Plans and Programs Division. The JNWC mission is to integrate navigation warfare (NAVWAR) across the Department of Defense (DoD) which includes the integration of military operations to gain and maintain a GPS positioning, navigation and timing (PNT) information advantage through the coordinated employment of capabilities within Information Operations (IO) (e.g. computer network operations and electronic warfare) and space operations (e.g. space control and space force enhancement). This support is also provided to the civilian community to include the Departments of Homeland Security, Transportation, and Commerce. The Plans and Policy Analyst supports the JNWC mission by advising the Departments of Homeland Security, Transportation, and Commerce with their Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) requirements and capabilities. Specifically, this position supports the JNWC Inter-agency lead by coordinating with the Inter-agency to apply integration, roadmap, collaboration, and project management action officer skills to the NAVWAR community in Service, Joint Staff, DoD, interagency, professional forum, and international venues. Applies experience to policy recommendations, concepts of operations, prioritization roadmaps, and capabilities integration and development. Applies integration, collaboration and project management skills to prepare NAVWAR strategy and policy briefings, information papers and course of action recommendations for leadership within the DoD, interagency, coalition and NATO NAVWAR community.

Education and Experience
BS or BA degree. Twelve years in related technical/operations field.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has experience and familiarity with DoD/Inter-agency headquarters doctrine, policy and plans experience.
Required
Must be US Government Security Clearance Eligible. Basic understanding of Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Commerce, and Department of Transportation structure and operations Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications. General project management, process analysis, and decision making process skills. Must have the ability to develop and maintain appropriate high-level inter-organizational relationships.
Desired
Prior government policy, doctrine or planning background and real world operations experience. Experience as a staff officer at the Departmental level. Experience in NAVWAR/PNT as it relates to Defense and national Critical Infrastructure protection, Defense Support to Civil Agencies Familiar with COCOM and OSD planning and operations processes. Knowledgeable in Electronic Warfare, Space Operations or Cyber Operations. Experience in civil agency planning processes. Experience with Department-level working groups, steering committees, and collaborative venues
