Electrical/Radio Frequency Engineer (NM17-03)
Candidate will support the planning, execution, and instrumentation of Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC) tests; conduct independent analysis and verification of DoD GPS Interference Frequency requests; and develop and maintain methods, standards, and models and simulations (M&S) in support of the JNWC. The Candidate performs all aspects of engineering support for tests, assessments, experiments and system evaluations in support of these activities using “Design of Experiments” principles. The Candidate will identify techniques to obtain specific engineering data collection requirements and instrumentation, models and simulations, and facilities required to satisfy stated test objectives. The Candidate develops techniques for the validation of engineering test data and the preparation of reports to support test objectives. Assists the Government customer Engineering Team Lead in developing schedules based on exercise plans, service requirements, adversary threat system developments, international agreements, and plans resource requirements. Supports planning, organization, and coordination of engineering activities in the operation and maintenance of advanced hardware and facilities. The Candidate will run existing models to support planning and real-world contingencies. Assesses the vulnerability of systems and subsystems operating in electronically challenegd environments. Reviews and identifies specialized test and support equipment. Writes technical reports and presents technical papers at conferences and symposia.

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Physics.
Background in GPS, Radio Frequency measurements, electronic warfare preferred. Experience working with satellite simulators or simulation software. Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
Must be US Government Security Clearance Eligible. Have proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work in a team setting with strong communication and interpersonal skills. There is travel associated with this position and it can be extensive during individual test events.
Experience in using Design of Experiments.
