Cyberspace Operations Analyst (MD17-01)
Mid-level Cyber Operations Analyst that will be able to communicate complex programmatic cyber planning information, orally and in writing. Candidate must be able to demonstrate broad knowledge of USCYBERCOM missions, authorities, and capabilities as well as equivalent information regarding the roles and responsibilities of the Command’s external program partners which includes (but not limited to) other DoD commands and agencies, other U.S. Government agencies and key partners. Candidate must be able to demonstrate familiarity with full-spectrum military cyberspace operations to enable actions in all domains to ensure US / Allied freedom of action in cyberspace and deny the same to adversaries. The Cyberspace Operations Analyst will work according to project-level management plans, milestones, and quality assurance frameworks across the USCYBERCOM J3, J5, and J7 staffs. The Cyberspace Operations Analyst will participate in development, production, and delivery of multiple staff projects and will provide direct support to action officer-level efforts and will support executive-level familiarization sessions for Flag Officers and/or SES personnel, and post-session review and assessment of all processes, products, and events to determine where adjustments are warranted.

Education and Experience
Bachelor of Science (BS) from an accredited college or university. An additional 2 years of related experience may be substituted for a degree. At least five (5) years of relevant experience in military operations, training, planning, and conducting assessments and analysis. 5 years of recent experience in Computer Network Attack (CNA, also known as Offensive Cyberspace Operations), Computer Network Defense (CND, also known as Defensive Cyberspace Operations), CND-RA, or Computer Network Exploitation (CNE) for the DoD and/or Intelligence Community (IC). Experience developing proficiency standards and validation processes. Understanding of Cyber Network Operations (CNO) strategy, operations research and analysis, CNO capability technical management, Information Management, and software development. Information Assurance policy expertise for both National and DoD levels pertaining to methodologies for conducting network warfare.
Must be US Government Security Clearance Eligible. Flexibility for travel.
IAT/M Level III certification desired - Experience in cyberspace operations objectives, policies, missions, plans, operations, and advocacy and force development - Background in Joint Functional Component Command Network Warfare (JFCC-NW), or Joint Task Force Global Network Operations (JTF-GNO), or USCYBERCOM intelligence, operations, plans, and staff highly desired. Quantitative and Qualitative Critical thinking skills and ability to prepare a well-grounded, defensible argument. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing; and ability to work well with other organizations and personnel with disparate backgrounds.
